By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Unhooked.
2. Who can use Unhooked
Unhooked is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
3. Unhooked is a wellness tool, not medical care
Unhooked provides educational content and behavior-change tools to support recovery from compulsive pornography use. It is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Unhooked offers paid subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you purchase. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are also subject to Apple's terms.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew. Except where required by law or by Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: do not attempt to access another user's account, interfere with or disrupt the app, reverse engineer or scrape the service, copy or redistribute our content, or use Unhooked for any unlawful purpose.
7. Our content and intellectual property
Unhooked and its licensors own the app, website, lessons, audio, written content, brand, and related materials. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own recovery. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our content except as these Terms allow.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the journal entries, reflections, and other content you create in the app. You grant us permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish your content or share it with other users.
9. Changes to the service
We may update, add, pause, or remove features over time. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid changes that unfairly disadvantage users with active paid access.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unhooked disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
